Our lovely fireplace & mantel make-over! It had been a white plaster/concrete hearth & "frame" around the fireplace. Neil sat down one day with pen and paper and sketched out how the mantel should look and came up with this. Lovely huh?

We replaced it with granite tile, and put an oak mantel around it. The white painted baseboards & window sills were also replaced to oak all around this room.
